COOKIE AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES POLICY

What cookies, SDKs and similar technologies Lumé uses on its website and in its mobile applications, and how you can control them.

Botanica 1 Pty Ltd (ABN: 45 647 833 583) trading as Lumé

Version 1.3 · Effective 15 August 2026

1. Purpose

This Policy explains the tracking technologies used on the Lumé website and in the Lumé mobile applications. It forms part of, and should be read with, the Privacy Policy.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Local storage performs a similar function within your browser. Software development kits (SDKs) are third-party code libraries embedded in our mobile applications that perform functions such as analytics, crash reporting and payment processing. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that record that a page or email has been opened. Device identifiers are values assigned to your device by its operating system, including the mobile advertising identifier.

3. The categories we use

3.1 Strictly necessary

Required for the Platform to function. They keep you logged in, maintain the security of your session, remember items in a booking flow, balance server load, and protect against fraud and automated attacks. These cannot be disabled through our consent tool because the Platform will not work without them.

3.2 Functional

Remember your preferences, such as language, time zone, recently viewed Service Providers and accessibility settings.

3.3 Analytics and performance

Help us understand how the Platform is used, which features are used most, where errors occur, and how to improve performance. Wherever possible we use aggregated or de-identified data for this purpose.

3.4 Advertising and marketing

Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where you consent, allow relevant advertising to be shown to you on other platforms. We do not use health or other sensitive information for advertising.

4. Third parties

Some of these technologies are set by third parties acting on our behalf, including our analytics, crash reporting, payment, mapping and advertising providers. Those parties are listed in our Subprocessor List together with the purpose of each. They are contractually restricted to using the data for the purpose we specify.

5. Your choices

5.1 On the website

When you first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept all, reject all non-essential, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, though some features may then not work correctly.

5.2 In the mobile applications

Analytics and crash reporting can be turned off in the application settings. On iOS, tracking across other companies' apps and websites requires your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and we will not access the advertising identifier unless you grant it. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier, and opt out of personalisation, in your device settings.

5.3 Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no consistent industry standard has been adopted. Your choices made through our consent tool are honoured regardless.

6. How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period, which does not exceed 24 months for analytics and 13 months for advertising, unless you delete them sooner. Device identifiers persist until you reset them in your device settings.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy as our technology changes. The current version is available at https://lume-book.com/cookies.
